FEUL OIL STORAGE & HANDELING SYSTEMS

 Breif Introduction

1.         HSD STORAGE       : We can  make the arrangements of HSD storage  in

(i)                 Horizontal Cylindrical Aboveground Tank        as per IS-10987

(ii)               Horizontal Cylindrical  Underground Tank        as per IS-10987

(iii)             Vertical Cylindrical aboveground tanks            as per IS-803  

Flow of HSD can be managed as below

Day Tank

In case  of above ground storage tank  , we have to use unloading pump to unload the oil to the storagee tank. Then another pump to be used to transfer pump to transfer oil to day tank. In case of underground tanks unloading of oil shell be by under gravity flow and then we have to use transfer pump to send the oli to tha day tank We have to use use isolation valves, pressure gauges,  in between the pipeline to direct the flow of oil. As per the clients requirements oil flow meter can be used to measure the received oil. In all the above cases we have to install an electric control panel with auto-manual option of operation. Transfer pumps can be operated automatically controlled by the lavel switch signal from the day tank

2.         HFO STORAGE       :

We can  make the arrangements of HFO storage  in

 (i)                 Horizontal Cylindrical Aboveground Tank        as per IS-10987

(ii)               Vertical Cylindrical aboveground tanks            as per IS-803

Handeling of HFO at the normal atm. temperature is not possible , in this case  we have to use steem jacketed / electri heat traced  accessories like  unloading pump , filter  Tanks and all with high temp. insulation to  make the oil less viscus . unloading the oil to the storagee tank to be with the help of pump to the storage tank. After centrifuge treatment another pump to be used to transfer pump to transfer oil to day tank.  We have to use use isolation valves, pressure gauges,Temp. controllers, regulators etc  in between the pipeline to direct the flow of oil. As per the clients requirements oil flow meter can be used to measure the received oil.
